I’m cheering for Take Charge Indy and Dullahan because of Cajun reasons.
You have no idea how hilarious this is to me. Like literally hilarious. Because I am one of the few people you will come into contact with that has actually called the State to ask who owns SL 340. Multiple times.
BTW- the response was “If you are calling about State Lease 340 again, we don’t know who owns it. Just fill out the form and we will make the corrections on our end.” And that is a SL they know they don’t know about. There are other ones that are just as bad out there, except I guess none of Huey Long’s relatives still own an interest in them. FYI, this is not the only “deal” in Louisiana history that is still paying paying dividends.
AND ONE LAST THING- Yes, *now* the State of Louisiana signs leases for a quarter royalty or above, but it is still a common royalty amount in other states. This isn’t quite as bad as the news report makes it out to be.

Dang, Louisiana, you are looking fine as hell today, gurl.
Really? Louisiana is a ‘Catsup’ region, not a ‘Ketchup’ region? That seems really fucking odd to me.
Side note. I hate my fucking Albertsons. And not just because the manager is a Bama fan with a chip on his shoulder. Seriously, fuck that guy. But anyways, it’s just a pretty terrible store and I’m certain a mouse died in the soda aisle (YEAH I SAID SODA) and they just let it smell for a least two weeks.
Unfortunately, Bet-R doesn’t sell everything I need.

There is a radio station in town that is trying to break me of my long time KLSU or nothing streak. I don’t know if you are involved in it or if it is a figment of my imagination, but I’m super into it.
WHYR 96.9 They just pulled a Joni Mitchell (Chelsea Morning), Elton John (Mona Lisa and Mad Hatters), Arcade Fire (We Used to Wait) combo. Sunday evenings they have a legit Louisiana music show. At any rate, I’ve annoyed my IRL people talking about this channel, so now I’m taking it to the Internet.
Dear Abita, Congratulations on 25 years! Also the bottle is gorgeous! Thank you for all you have given me. Sincerely, Me
